Volunteering for IB Boosters
Providing volunteers to support the Inglemoor IB Program is at the heart of the IB Boosters mission. There are many ways you can contribute during the course of the school year.
CAS ADVISING
CAS Advisors offer critical support and feedback to IB Diploma candidates, who must complete CAS (Community, Action, Service) hours, as well as a CAS project, as part of the IB diploma process. For more information about CAS and becoming
a CAS Advisor, visit Inglemoor IB's CAS Info for Parents page, or e-mail Amy Monaghan at amonaghan@nsd.org.
IB EXAM PROCTORS
The Inglemoor IB program relies on parent volunteers to serve as exam proctors each year in May. The number of proctors varies from year to year, but generally there are 80-100 shifts available over a 3-week period. Volunteer schedules and information are generally e-mailed in early April. For more information or to volunteer, e-mail the IB Boosters Club board at ihsibclub@gmail.com.
SERVING ON THE BOARD
IB Boosters is run by a volunteer board of parents who are dedicated to supporting the IB program at Inglemoor High School, it's students, teachers and advisors. If you are interested in serving on next year's board, click here for information.
IB SENIOR RECOGNITION CEREMONY
At the end of the school year, the IB Boosters organizes a recognition ceremony for seniors graduating from the Inglemoor IB program.
As you can imagine, this is an important night for our IB families, and requires help and support from parent and student volunteers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable evening. For more information or to volunteer to help with this year's
Senior Recognition Ceremony, e-mail the board at ihsibclub@gmail.com.
